DVD Home Cinema System
More rigid and lighter evolved bamboo cone material has been adopted for speakers. With the new bamboo cone speakers the sound becomes much more responsive. Vocals are more pure and clearer and the dialogue being crisper and easier to understand than ever before. *Bamboo cone material is used in the centre speaker.
The Kelton type subwoofer has an internal structure that is divided into two hermitically sealed spaces. The drive unit that is mounted to the space in the back causes the air in the front space to vibrate. This causes an acoustic filter effect in the front space to absorb unwanted noise while also vibrating the passive radiators. This achieves highly robust reverberating bass sounds.
SC-PT580 is compatible with a new feature of ARC (Audio Return Channel). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This new feature will simplify the connection by eliminating an audio cable connection between TV audio output and main unit’s audio input. * ARC compatible TV is required.
Easy Setup is a very convenient function that allows anyone to easily set up the home cinema system with any type of TV by simply following the on-screen instructions.
SC-PT580 is compatible with Front Layout Mode which allows 5.1ch surround sound with 5 speakers placed in the front. Even with space limitation 5.1ch surround sound can be enjoyed with selectable speaker layout.
