SC-ZT2 can receive and output FULL HD 3D signals from the FULL HD 3D Blu-ray Disc™ Player to the FULL HD 3D TV. ZT2 is a wireless design matching solution for the FULL HD 3D home cinema system.
Speaker cables are completely unnecessary with the SC-ZT2. This means you no longer have to worry about tripping over cables or put up with the hassle of hiding cables under your carpet. Audio data is sent uncompressed over a wireless 2.4-GHz frequency band to ensure high-quality sound. This wireless configuration keeps your home cinema system neat and uncluttered.
A unique pole design has been created by using Panasonic’s slim and flat type speakers. By arranging 4 speakers vertically inside the pole a parallel sound system is achieved. This provides ideal listening conditions from virtually any position standing or sitting. Also because the sound is produced in a parallel configuration it remains crisp and clear with minimal noise from ceiling or floor reflections.
Even though the SC-ZT2 is a 2-speaker system Panasonic's virtual technology lets you enjoy Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD 7.1-channel surround sound by combining it with a DMP-BD85 Blu-ray DiscTM player. If you don't have the space to install eight speakers you can still enjoy lifelike sounds that rival 7.1-channel systems.
SC-ZT2 is compatible with a new feature of ARC (Audio Return Channel). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This new feature will simplify the connection by eliminating an audio cable connection between TV audio output and main unit’s audio input. * ARC compatible TV is required
