This product allows viewing of high definition video on any monitor or display capable of showing 1080p 1920x1200 or 2K while using DVI or HDMI cable connection on the display side
The USB to DVI HD Adapter allows any computer's USB port to be the source for any display that is only equipped with DVI or HDMI connectors. Using USB for video configuration is very useful when working with extended desktop applications and when the primary graphics display is already occupied. The extra displays can be configured either to mirror the primary display or to show the extended desktop allowing additional visibility of more applications that can all be seen at the same time. The USB to DVI HD Adapter uses very little computer resources saving power and CPU usage for graphics applications. Up to six displays can be connected with resolutions reaching 1080p or 1920x1200 and 2K.
How It Works
Simply connect the USB to DVI HD Adapter's USB side to a USB port on the computer with the USB cable supplied. Connect a DVI cable between the USB to DVI HD Adapter and the display. No external power supplies are needed.
Note: System performance is an important issue when using multiple displays. The Gefen USB to DVIHD uses little resources ensuring a quality display without compromising performance. Up to six USB to DVI Graphics Adapters can be connected to a PC (4 to a Mac) at a time.
